I don't care what anyone says. PCSing is rough... Especially when you passed the point of being able to fit everything in the back of a coupe.

I understand we are in a digital age and smart devices allow us an improved level of access to people and information that we've never had before. But..where is the line on expected use from SMs?
The processes SM have to go through to schedule and access medical care often seem like an internal deterrent for SMs seeking care.
Kindness is free and will make the world a better place.
My experience with the current day Soldier is they will be unsuccessful because they are not taking the time to learn the rules of the game. I tell all Soldiers to lean into their time as SPC.. that really when you learn how the Army. And then you level up at SSG..
One of the biggest fails of my time as a 1SG was thinking that Soldiers would take the time to read. If I get selected to do it again I'll be handing out regulation snippets like bible verses. We don't always follow doctrine but there really is some good info in those pages.
