Whilst I support all the good intentions by people who want to help others, I cannot see how they can keep asking the government to fund every scheme they can dream up. There is a debt to pay, and the money pit is empty, so don’t complain when your taxes increase dramatically.

Well, if anyone wants convincing on how biased Laura Keunsberg reporting is then I urge you to watch the Coronavirus update and the response to questions asked by her then switch to the BBC 6.00pm news and see how she reports it. It’s absolutely disgraceful. Defund the BBC.

What a contrast. On Friday we celebrated an amazing ‘can do’ generation who got us through our darkest time as a nation. Then, Boris gives some hope to the end of another dark time in our history and it is now clear that we have a dim, ‘can’t do’ generation to rely on.

I’ve been critical of the Government’s communications. But when senior medical officials give a clear explanation in a national press conference of the expected trends, then people completely ignore what they’ve said, I’m not sure what else the Government is expected to do.
