🌍 GERMANY 🇩🇪 In March 2020, self-employed individuals in Germany initially received limited COVID-19 aid that had to be repaid. In the summer of the same year, further COVID-19 aid was introduced, but many self-employed individuals were left out.

🌍 GERMANY 🇩🇪 PSE face limited access to social benefits like unemployment or parental leave and pay higher contributions for health insurance. Despite having solid pensions, perceptions of precariousness outside liberal professions have led to a decline in self-employment.
