Dear Mr. Bennett, As UN Special Rapporteur, please don’t stay silent while Iran fabricates charges against Afghanistani refugees labeling them as Mossad spies, beating & detaining them. Also, take urgent action against those openly inciting genocide of Afghanistani people online. Justice must be equal for all.

@SR_Afghanistan After the 12 day conflict, Iran deported 6.5k Afghan children without any of their parents with them. They have just taken them from the street and have deported them. Iran is such a racist country.

In Iran, we do not have ethnic minorities; everyone considers themselves Iranian. You fabricated the narrative of ethnic minorities in order to justify the presence of Afghans in Iran. You speak often about human rights, refugees, and global responsibility. But I wonder: do Iranians have any place in this conversation? In less than four years, Iran has taken in around 15 million Afghan migrants more than any other country in recent memory. But this didn’t happen through a democratic or humanitarian process. It was the result of deliberate, unaccountable policies by a regime that has turned Iran into economic ruins. The Iranian people are struggling to survive most live below the poverty line, crushed by inflation, unemployment, and systemic oppression. Yet our voices were ignored when we protested the open border policies that directly impacted our daily lives. Now, as the regime shifts its agenda, it is deporting many of those same migrants again, without transparency, without consulting the people. I ask you this: If human rights matter, why are the rights and voices of the Iranian people never part of the equation? We are not xenophobic. We are desperate. And we are tired of being erased from global concern.
@SR_Afghanistan The Iranian people have welcomed Afghan immigrants and refugees for 40 years, and during all these years, they have committed crimes and rape in Iran. During the 12-day war of the Israeli terrorist regime against Iran, these same immigrants were Israel's accomplices.
