The SSHJM BSNP farm serves many purposes; it hosts an accredited general agriculture course, it's an income generating activity, it offers (green) hands on farming experience for children, provides nutritious food for school meals etc. it is multi faceted.

Meet Debra Njuka, BSNPs very own psychologist. Debra supports children, parents and staff, and conducts invaluable disability assessments. BSNP also has access to a psychiatrist who prescribes necessary medication to our children e.g. those with epilepsy. #inclusivehealth

SSHJM Bauleni Special Needs Project in teaming up with Levy Medical University, and set to receive 4th year physios, speech therapists, nutritionists and nurses. This adds to BSNPs own psychologist and special needs teachers. Thats an almost complete multi disciplinary team 👏🎉

SSHJM Inclusive Development Programme Zambia won the @miseancara climate action award 2024 winning €3000. The funds have been invested in a soon to be completed integrated fish, crop and livestock farming system at the SSHJM demo farm. Circular sustainable farming 🐷🐔🐟🫛

Met a model livelihoods group in Mongwi District 🇿🇲 today named Tuleyapanta Shi. In a short time their organic vegetable plot is bursting with goodness. They are formulating organic fertiliser & bio pesticide, using the efficient wood burning stove & much more. Very Impressive

Day 3 All things climate resilient livelihoods. Met 3 farming groups supported in climate smart crop & vegetable production, livestock raring, fisheries and saving/ lending models. Groups reported improved food security, nutrition, income, and hope for the future. #climatesmart

Makola, Mpulungu District 🇿🇲, SSHJM inclusive development program & @unicefzambia support adolescents to stay in school, return to school, end child marriage and delay early pregnancies. 363 adolescents are in 12 peer to peer support groups. #stayinschool #endchildmarriage

This small building may look simple but it's having a huge impact on girls education. It is a latrine and wash room for girls at SSHJM Chele school. Previously, girls would miss school esp. during their menstrual cycle, now they have the privacy and space they require. 👏🏿🎓
