Stevie Ray Vaughan playing a rare Gibson L1 acoustic guitar (1983)
@SVG__Collection If you close your eyes, you would think this is two guitar players. Amazing dude and still miss him. I remember where I was when I heard he died.
@SVG__Collection How I wish he had done a whole acoustic album. I only know “Life By the Drop” as an acoustic recording
@SVG__Collection Damn! I miss that guy and his band! It would have been really cool to hear Stevie and Bonamassa play together.
@SVG__Collection The Best in my opinion and he influenced Gary Clark Jr. youtu.be/x_ZeDn-hHGE?si…
@SVG__Collection Stevie is always gonna be the Guitarist with that ‘something’ extra extra special that’s haunts you forever.
@SVG__Collection The music flowed through him. - Bonnie Riatt.
@SVG__Collection He wore his influences on his sleeves but he still find a way to seem orginal while doing it. I miss him.
@SVG__Collection Miss this guy so much. What a wizard!
@SVG__Collection Would have loved to hear SRV take Dicki Betts place with the Duane Allman Brothers Band. Imagine Duane and SRV together. Duane had no ego when it came to music.
@SVG__Collection Amazing… Stevie Ray left us with a unquenchable thirst… Are you on 🦋…
@SVG__Collection @TinaMarie_80s So in love with Stevie 💔
@SVG__Collection Now. There should be no doubt who is possibly one of the greatest guitarist to ever live.
@SVG__Collection Damn!! Looks like the action on that guitar is super high and he’s still shredding it up.
@SVG__Collection @DustyAssKracka Thank you, Dusty! Shared with Paul.
@SVG__Collection I like that right-hand reverse sweeping thing he does.
@SVG__Collection I've heard people say Stevie Ray Vaughan wasn't that good. To them I say "Okay, Let's see you do it then"
@SVG__Collection Stevie Ray had so much God-given talent. Miss him dearly 😢
Not likely an L1. As an L1 doesn't have a truss rod cover, has a non fixed bridge and trapeze tailpiece and a very curved top. Example: my 1917 L1, built the year before the Parsons Street factory opened in Kalamazoo. So it's either a much younger L1 or, more likely, a later model L Series.
@SVG__Collection He really was a genius with a guitar in his hands
@SVG__Collection Genious with blessed and gifted hands, gone too soon.
