One of the greatest interviews ever…
@SVG__Collection What a modest person. I did’t realise.
Hendrix !
@SVG__Collection It truly is. DC was an intelligent and good natured interviewer. It seems like JH loosened up and was being genuine here. Pity the machine got to him, he was a good soul.
@SVG__Collection Thank you so much for posting. I had never heard that interview. Jimi was such a gift to humanity. Man it was fun to see this for the first time. I’m 66 in human years.
@SVG__Collection Amazing. He was such a complicated guy. Shy and information. Incredible that he was not impressed with himself.
@SVG__Collection He didn't need to read it. He felt it and played it.
@SVG__Collection The best part of the interview is missing. When Dick asked Jimi, "Do you consider yourself a discipline guy, do you get up every day and work?" Jimi said, "I try to get up every day." 🤣
@SVG__Collection The way his mood changed a bit when he called him one of the best in the world…
@SVG__Collection Yes. The humility in such a great artist. 💙
@SVG__Collection Agreed. But full dibs to Cavett. He did LOTS of these great interviews back in the day. He was fearless.
@SVG__Collection He was such a humble, gentle, cool and extremely sympathetic person 😘🤗
@SVG__Collection No one but Cavett could have done this interview. I'm a huge fan
@SVG__Collection Jimi could've said anything in that Interview and the Media would've ate it up with a Spoon but he kept it Straight and Sincere without the usual BS that most 'Rock Stars' are so full off! His early Death Robbed us of some Classic Tunes. RIP Jimi. We'll never see your like again!
@SVG__Collection I saw this when it originally aired. I was already a fan. This made me a fan for life.
@SVG__Collection he said he hates compliments, then Dick says 'you're considered one of the best guitarists in the world' hahaaa
@SVG__Collection Yep. "It's not unorthodox. I thought it was beautiful. But there you go."
@SVG__Collection Dick Cavett IS AN EXCELLENT Interviewer..
@SVG__Collection Just watched, yesterday, the 'Classic Album' series episode of, 'The Making of Electric Ladyland.'
@SVG__Collection Man I wish we still had him. I was thinking about that last week. If he had not ODed what else would he have made.
@SVG__Collection His love for music, country and peace was pretty close to the truth
