What’s an album that you’d defend as a masterpiece no matter what?
@SVG__Collection Common - Electric Circus
@SVG__Collection Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
@SVG__Collection “What’s Going On“ Marvin Gaye. And It’s perfection. Has aged like fine wine 🫡.
@SVG__Collection Unfair comparison, but I think the music, writing, production, themes, motifs etc. are on the same tier as Blonde. This is a classic 💎
@SVG__Collection Y’all can debate all you want, but Blonde is a feeling, not just an album & if you don’t think Blonde is a masterpiece, you’ve never actually listened to music fr. 😂 Pink + White. Nights. Self Control. Need I say more?
@SVG__Collection This album helped me get through it. All timer that isn’t for everybody
@SVG__Collection Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life.
“no matter what” is what made me say this album It’s old & yes a bit cheesy but her beautiful voice and the production of this recording is amazing. You can hear every instrument in the orchestra. “You’re My World” & “Do You Know the Way to San Jose” are here but the entire album is a masterpiece of sound.
@SVG__Collection This one will stand the test of time. Roy Hargrove Big Band - Emergence
