@SVG__Collection You did a great job boiling it down into a single image. I guess it is inevitable but I wish you could find room for the likes of Nat Cole, JJ Johnson, and Art Tatum, plus some of the international players like Gil Evans, Django, Stephane Grapelli, etc.
@SVG__Collection These are so hard to do. I mean Satchmo alone (who was literally the heir of King Oliver) was a “pioneer” throughout 3 of those decades leaving indelible marks on early Swing, Scat, & Bebob atop of his contributions to New Orleans & “The Jazz Age” 🤙🏻
