@SVG__Collection Amazing how poorly this did commercially. Great album.
@SVG__Collection album would cost a billion dollars to make today with the samples alone
@SVG__Collection Misunderstood at the time but a stone cold classic.
@SVG__Collection BEASTIE BOYS . . . Their album Paul’s Boutique was a great follow up album to Licensed to Ill especially when you’re in the mood for a great burger and American Lager (so to speak).

@SVG__Collection Don't forget the legendary Dust Brothers involvement
@SVG__Collection Their artistic peak and an eclectic, funky album.
@SVG__Collection 32 years later. September 2021.
@SVG__Collection And now it’s Beastie Boys Square- they have an Instagram page too.
@SVG__Collection I randomly played this record today not knowing it was its anniversary. A great album, many of my favorite beastie boys tracks.
@SVG__Collection Legendary album. The Sounds of Science is the greatest Beastie Boys song. Egg Man not far behind. Paul’s Boutique was the frat party record of the early 90s. Good Times
@SVG__Collection Sampling masterpiece! There’s nothing quite like it.
@SVG__Collection Underrated Album and totally classic Album Cover
@SVG__Collection The production is excellent. I could never tolerate their voices or delivery.
@SVG__Collection And I got them shits in '89, *GREENS* tape cassette!
@SVG__Collection The most wonderful art often comes from those who didn't set out to create it, but rather, found it emerging from their unique perspective and experiences.
@SVG__Collection Seemed to me like Paul's Boutique was kind of a flop when it came out, but gained some traction in subsequent years. By the mid 90s it was well regarded among the groups fans, but not particularly well represented on radio or MTV, which were big things at that time.
@SVG__Collection Bold. Brave. Eclectic. Future facing. Has to be consumed as a whole and not in parts.
@SVG__Collection Criminally underrated album. Probably their best!! High plains drifter, Fucking classic
@SVG__Collection @systemofdoom I must had missed it, I was extremely disappointed in it. Maybe it was before my time, honestly it caused me not to listen to them any more. Will give it a go now.
@SVG__Collection "This is Paul's Boutique, the number is... and we're in Brooklyn."
@SVG__Collection No Ableton or whatever at that time.
@SVG__Collection One of the great albums. Even if every track has 3 samples!
