@SVG__Collection Kind of Blue is not only the greatest jazz record ever made, it’s one of the greatest records, period, of any genre. Great place to start — the ONLY place to start — and an excellent list.

@SVG__Collection One Flight Up by Dexter Gordon recorded on June 2, 1964 in Paris and released on Blue Note the following year. The session featured Donald Byrd on trumpet, pianist Kenny Drew, bassist Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, and drummer Art Taylor.
