گفتگویی با Dezeen درباره پروژه آموزش دیزاین برای دختران افغانستان. پروژه‌ای که از امسال برای دخترانی از ایران هم برگزار خواهد شد.
سه دیدگاه درباره کلمه «استتیک» وجود دارد. یک دیدگاه این‌که باید گفت «زیبایی‌شناسی». دیدگاه دیگر این است که بگوییم «زیباشناسی». دیدگاه دیگری هم می‌گوید «حسانیت»، چون استتیک اساسا ربطی به زیبایی ندارد. بعضی هم می‌گویند که بگوییم «استتیک». در انگلیسی هم این کلمه اسباب دردسرهایی‌ست.
چرا کسی چنین خطی نمی‌سازد دیگر؟ چرا همه خط‌های امروز انقدر شبیه به هم‌ند؟ چرا همه شوخ‌اند؟ چرا پر انرژی‌ند خط‌ها و دیزاین و حرف‌ها و تبلیغ‌ها. چرا هیچ بلاغتی در این تبلیغ‌ها نیست؟ چرا هیچ آرامش و وقاری در دیزاین‌ها نیست؟ چرا این همه انرژی سطحی در دیزاین‌هاست؟
دوستی پرسیده که چه طور می‌توان فهمید یک دیزاین درست است یا نه؟ پاسخ این است که با نگاه کردن به دیزاین نمی‌توان فهمید. باید هدف دیراین را دانست تا بعد حدس زد که دیزاین درست است، یا نه. #دیزاین
