The redistricting of SF's D5 is a major failure. The Redistricting Committee’s decision defies logic. To lop off Cole Valley & add the Tenderloin is a poor decision that reeks of politics and perhaps corruption. Service providers in the TL agree: Keep TL w SOMA. Keep CV w Haight

Imagine how privileged or just delusional you have to be to post something like this after we've had three shootings in three weeks. Easy to Tweet from atop the hill while folks on Haight St. have bullets flying past their homes and even HANC is asking for more beat patrols.

@DeanPreston @DeanPreston I am @nick_liebs neighbor. A bullet went through the wall of the room where my newborn daughter sleeps and was only stopped by a substantial dresser. I also would like to know what concrete steps you are taking to reduce all crime in our neighborhood.
