At least in Halo 5 you would earn loot boxes which slowly unlocks the paid for content. Halo Infinite doesn’t give you any way to get the paid items without paying.

The #HaloInfinite progression issue is something that could have been avoided if 343 wasn’t radio silent during 95% of the game’s development. Allowing feedback to be given as early as possible allows things to be fixed before time is wasted on systems that now have to be rebuilt
