Hello, X. My name is Sahar. I live in Kabul, Afghanistan. I want to show you a moment in my life the world doesn’t hear about. It happened yesterday. It’s a story about two little girls, and a choice I made that I can’t stop thinking about.🧵
2/ Every day, I take a rideshare taxi to get to work. These are regular cars like a Toyota Corolla. They’re expensive, but for women with secret jobs like mine, they’re safer than public vans.
@SaraWahedi Sara, what can I do to help the women of Afghanistan?
@SaraWahedi Those poor little girls. Praying they are safe right now. What a hellhole Afghanistan has become for women and girls under the Taliban! 😭
@SaraWahedi Your story sounds powerful. I’m eager to hear more.
@SaraWahedi I’m so sorry for the situation you find yourself in Sara. It’s not much but know many women in the UK are standing up for you and trying to raise awareness of the man made hell you live in.
Thank you for sharing Sahar’s story. It’s haunting because it shows the cruel reality of life under systems with no justice or protection. She tried to do the right thing, but there was no right choice, only danger in every direction. Please keep sharing these truths. The world needs to see the impossible choices Afghan women are forced to make just to survive.
@SaraWahedi Thanks for sharing … It’s indeed very Heart Breaking what Afghan Girls have to go through daily in their life . Hope God shows some mercy towards these girls & several others and they are safe .
@SaraWahedi Afghanistan is now a complete cesspool back in the hands of the extremist Taliban. What a horrific mistake to withdraw by both Trump (who initiated it) and Biden (who horrifically executed it).
@SaraWahedi You’re a courageous young woman and the world needs more like you.
Sara, I am sorry for you and those girls. Ask any US military member who was on the ground and dealt with the Afghanistan military, police, or authorities. You absolutely do not want to know what you just did. Never do that again. May God rest the souls of those little girls and end their suffering quickly. May God forgive us. May God grant us wisdom.
@SaraWahedi Thank you for sharing. The more people share on this global platform the truth the more people will wake up and transformation will occur. Let’s pray those little girls are safe. You did the best you could 🙏
