Field Reversed Configuration explained by TAE. Plasma produces its own magnetic field which can be used to contain the plasma.
@JustXAshton The question is to obtain excess energy with such a reaction that is the main problem, since the calculations show that excess energy is not overwhelmed there. sbkaravashkin.blogspot.com/2023/09/blog-p… sbkaravashkin.blogspot.com/2023/10/blog-p… With this installation of excess energy release, one should not expect.
Your math is missing a whole portion of the equation. Fusion isn't just about the energy output from the reaction, it's about the relationship between the input energy and the output. This is why hot fusion is a scam and why we've never had useful fusion reactors. Not even approaching the problem the right way. Helion isn't even aiming for ignition because it's not needed, think about that.
@JustXAshton I have shown the energy balance. It doesn't matter here whether the energy for the process is introduced by heating the plasma, or by the counter motion of ions, or by an electric spark. In any case, the introduced energy will be greater than the received one.
That's not correct, and once again you're still missing an entire portion of the equation. This is why humans don't have fusion. Your math is fine, you just don't understand the Universe correctly. Once you realize there's no closed systems, the solution will appear. In short, we can recycle the input energy similar to how a car can recycle energy while breaking.
@JustXAshton That's what you're talking about! Then the simple question is: will the total energy output be greater than the initial energy expended in the same car when reusing the remaining energy?
@SergeyKaravash1 Not in a classical engine, but it will be in plasma fusion reactor. The reason why you can't comprehend this is because you think space is an empty vacuum. That's why you can't make a real fusion reactor. If you were right, you could.
@JustXAshton Firstly, classical physics considers space to be material, not empty. Secondly, I do not deny the creation of controlled thermonuclear fusion - especially when uncontrolled has already been created.
@SergeyKaravash1 Here's the APS presentation from last year by Helion Fusion CEO. Strongly suggest you watch it the entire way through.
