SpaceX faces challenges supplying enough cryogenic fluids for Starship launches due to shortages, transport bottlenecks, and growing demand, causing delays. To solve this, it gained approval in July 2025 to build an air separation plant, producing liquid oxygen and nitrogen on-site, piped 1,000 feet into storage tanks at Starbase.

@East_Clipper I wonder how such a quantity of oxygen and hydrogen will be stored to perform all the maneuvers during the flight to Mars? No Dewar vessel will be able to store for so long. And the plant will be useless due to the lack of air.
