So does this imply that the strong force and the weak force are likewise emergent effects of the aether ? that would tidy things up wouldn't it ? In _Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman_, the guys at Los Alamos during the war would chaff the chemists, calling them '4th rate physicists' but apparently the best physicists are the electrical engineers and right below them are the chemists ? And the physicists are actually 4th rate electrical engineers ?
