Have to remember the difference between the upland Cymros and the lowland Welsh. Cymros remained “pure.” Lowlanders are a mix of Welsh with Anglo & Fleming planters plus later 19th English/Irish migration. Cymros are only of the colonised, Welsh are both colonised & colonists.
