Shocking fact: "Tulu language is more than 2000 years old!!" Definitely, a language of that old carries with it so much of culture, heritage, history of our soil. But why this neglect? Support us to urge state and central govts to add #TuluTo8thSchedule to give it's due credit.

Demand for inclusion of Tulu to 8th schedule is not new. It’s been there since 1971. So many people have requested and protested. To preserve languages like #Tulu it must be official in its home state as well as in union govt. #TuluTo8thSchedule

To make it clear, adding Tulu as official language in Karnataka or #TuluTo8thSchedule doesn't affect Kannada. FYI, ಕುಡ್ಲ has good number of ಶುದ್ಧ ಕನ್ನಡ speakers. Recently, MLA of Manjeshwar(Kerala) took oath in ಕನ್ನಡ. We felt good. Similarly, we need ತುಳು to get its recognition.

Sun, Moon & vermilion colored flag of Tuluvas is not just any other flag. This is existed in Tulunad for thousands of years. This is the flag of every Daivas. B4 you make any derogatory comment on that flag, think thousand times bcz playing with Daivas is like playing with fire.
