Great Milestone!
@EUinUG @FarajaAfricaFdn Our members were on the ground with the team from @EUinUG across the region: @GorretNamw19194 in Bugiri and Kaliro, @DjembaMicheal in Namayingo and Jinja, @nakazzisharifa and @lugudho in Kamuli and Luuka, engaging directly with the implementing partners and communities.
We witnessed impactful initiatives protecting children by tackling labour along agricultural chains, preventing sexual exploitation through safer spaces for youth, and empowering communities by building resilience and fostering sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Last week, we joined the EU Monitoring Visits across Busoga, engaging with projects that are truly transforming lives. These visits reaffirm our mission: to ensure @EUinUG is youth-centered, inclusive, and fully responsive to the needs, hopes, and aspirations of young people.
Today, our Ambassador @JanSadek hosted a lunch for the group of #TeamEurope Ambassadors & Ugandan Ambassadors posted in 🇪🇺 capitals. This has now become a tradition around the annual 🇺🇬 Ambassador’s Conference. Great way of catching up & building on strong #EUandUganda relations
During our visit, labour officers, sugarcane & rice industry representatives shared powerful testimonies on child labour. Their voices remind us: protecting children requires government, private sector & communities working together.
We witnessed the incredible work of an EU-funded organization committed to end child labour in Iganga,Bugiri & Kaliro.Every child deserves education,protection,dignity & a future filled with opportunity.Let us stand together to amplify this cause & ensure no child is left behind

Youth voices took center stage yesterday at the 8th National Youth Parliament with inspiring debates & united voices. They engaged on 4 key motions presenting solutions & urging the Gov't of Uganda to take bold action in empowering & supporting youth for lasting development.
