It's a book that needed to be written. Plenty of books take you inside the minds of investors, but not the LPs they serve. It is an effective vehicle for highlighting the clichés, and shortcomings, of the various flavors of investment manager.
@ShortSightedCap @tseides Agreed, the book shows clearly the challenges and dilemmas allocators face. Not a criticism of the book/character, but the titular CIO is far more annoying/unprofessional than any I’ve worked for.
