I think this is a fundamental misunderstanding. People have very often acknowledged that there’s probably a true explanation for “supernatural” phenomenon. It’s just beyond what we understand of the natural, and as such is ripe for storytelling and wild explanations.

Using a single random Unicode character in a password is enough to bypass pretty much any brute force attack. ~400x more secure for every bit. Who expects Santa Skin Tone 3?🎅🏼 You could even get away with a 1 character password as long as you don’t tell anyone it’s one character

Declarative, reproducible systems like Nix aren’t “complex.”They’re the simplest possible way to manage complexity. If you think manually patching configs is easier, you haven’t experienced scale. My recent tweet jokes saying Ubuntu is the final destination? It’s actually Nix.
