I do agree with everything said in the article. Transit, Mayor and Council are stuck in the past with no vision for what is needed now or in the future.

I understand a 5 minute car ride versus an hour + on transit first having to go downtown, bus not always there in time in order to make the transfer, finally getting on the next bus and then back north and a 1km walk to the office after I got off the bus.

Things are getting "back to normal" for #Guelph. Feels like 2019 all over again...cancellations, lost revenue for businesses, people can't get to work. A reliable transit system is one of the points @BrentToderian made. Is @cityofguelph & @guelphtransit getting the message?

Don't have enough (spare) drivers so they cancel the 1 over and over and over and over and over and over again and again and again and again and again and again. 5+yrs running. It never ends & won't until we get some leadership at City Hall that walks the talk to fix it! #Guelph

I agree that politicians have a conflict of interest in designing the electoral system, I agree that a CA is the next step. What I disagree with is promoting PR now before promoting the CA. Until a PR system is selected nothing is going to happen except blame game.

Two people got off the 7:02a.m. GO Train and got on the 99 Mainline South. A quick chat and both are going to factory jobs in the Southgate area. This is why we need to @link_watershed to provide earlier and easier access to Jobs for people who live in neighbouring cities.
