"Friends" and other sitcoms have done more damage to young people than we realize. They've created a generation of emotionally stunted, immature adults who have developed the "sitcom personality". Here's why these series have been terrible for society as a whole 🧵👇

I'm using "Friends" as an example because it's possibly the most popular sitcom of all time. Its popularity made it possible for future sitcoms to achieve commercial success too. So the goal isn't to rank which series is worse, because they're all pretty bad tbh.
