- It is an anti-collision system developed by the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) to achieve the goal of "zero accidents" - Kavach provides alerts in the event of a loco pilot jumping a signal, known as Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD), which is a major cause of train collisions.
