After flight #3, it looks like Ingenuity has landed with one foot on a rock! Since it has spring leg joints, I'm thinking this won't be a big deal going forward but it's interesting to see that even something small as Ingenuity has its terrain issues. @NASAJPL #MarsHelicopter

Well, the video of the second flight looks like it's all downloaded. I'm not sure that I can see that Ingenuity actually moved 7 feet laterally. It might move a foot or two away from Perseverance, then back. Kinda hard to tell. Does a few pirouettes, for sure #MarsHelicopter

#OTD in 1962, Neil Armstrong descended from an altitude of 39 miles (~62 km) in the X-15 when he overshot Edwards AFB. Flying at Mach 3, conditions didn't allow him to turn back until Pasadena.

For all the people wondering about the "missing" dust cloud generated by Ingenuity #MarsHelicopter. Yes, this is real, though I don't know exactly what mojo he used to bring out the contrast on the dust cloud. If you look at raw video, it's faint but visible.

Hey, @NASAJPL, can u pls confirm -- In the Sol 31 video from @NASAPersevere left Zcam, at time 7 secs. I think @NASAPersevere captured a dust devil moving left to right. Youtube link but you might need full-size raw frames to see: youtu.be/tbS0vKOXMIw

Good news: New video frames came in overnight from @NASAPersevere. Less good news: None of it seems to be from the high speed spin test. Just three different clips of Ingenuity tilting its rotors back and forth. At this rate, we'll get the spin test after first flight.
