the final indignity: this stretch of negley that has never once been shoveled in the 15 years I've lived on top of this hill. nbd it's not like it's a 16% grade or anything - oh wait it is. otoh if a hot car engine was parked here it might melt the snow

it gets worse, the water goes out on the street for a bit then goes back on the sidewalk as far as I can see

also this sidewalk I 311'd at least 5 years ago, still zero improvement. that's a sheet of ice because there's a drain pipe there that empties onto the sidewalk. just trying to get to the bus stop, sigh.

@bencschmitt I was tired of the last guy indulging any idiot who mentioned snowplows on twitter while completely ignoring the treacherous sidewalks. Not happy the new guy is embarking on a similar path. Take care of pedestrians before throwing more tax money at placating suburbanite drivers.

My walk to work. Can't ride my bike, too snowy. Also can't walk on sidewalk. TOO SNOWY. Except the sidewalk on the 279 overpass, clear and salted path. 😮😮
