[Oct 2022 cont.] The first ever #PolarisCon took place in our hometown Hamburg! We had so much fun trying all the games and meeting so many of our friends from the German game industry!

[Oct 2022] Funding secured 🥳 Thanks to the support from IFB Hamburg we get to continue working on our voxel game engine in full time. We are grateful for the amazing support we have received to far & excited to expand our team!

[Aug 2022] We brought some serious firepower to our voxel game! The new weapon mechanics add automatic rifles with a realistic recoil system to the game. #voxelfps

[July 2022] We added collision detection & proper FPS movement to our game! It is a huge step forward in terms of player experience. You can now explore the world on foot, climb stairs and really get a feel for the environment you are in

[June 2022] So far you have only seen voxels: Now our engine also supports regular 3D models/meshes! First use of the feature will be for player and weapon models (screenshot shows placeholders)

After tackling the major challenges of the renderer we laid the foundation of our game engine: We built an asynchronous message bus in C++. This will connect various services such as Audio, Rendering and Game Logic. So far we have implemented a Logger and an Input service.
