This is pretty interesting. The Apple A7 chip is a Package on Package (PoP) chip with the top part being the DRAM and the bottom being the CPU. It looks like this cellphone board reused the DRAM from a PoP chip and connected it to a MediaTek SoC. CC: @hackaday
