Here's a hack for you on how to make your aided language displays last longer than a laminated sheet of paper. I use foamed PVC sheets. They are solid, lightweight and waterproof. I get them from a website called plasticsheetsshop.co.uk. #speechandlanguagetherapy #AAC #mySLTday

Sounds help us to understand what's going on around us e.g. the beep on the microwave means food's ready. You can use musical cues in the classroom or at home too e.g. shake a maraca for lunchtime, ring a door bell for playtime or nursery rhyme for bedtime. #speechandlanguage
