*Runs around throwing leaves into the air, then comes in out of the cold to wrap an extremely fluffy tail around @DivineFlight*
*Slithers down from the tree, checks out the tracks left in the wet grass, sniffs the air curiously. Huh... Puzzled. But also hungry. Putting the curiosity on a back shelf, re-absorbing her claws, picking a bit of bark from under her fingernails, and heading back inside*
*Sits outside, furred against the cold but sniffling in the dew, to watch the sun come up and listen to the birds that have remained*
*Awake early, too. Slinks out before dawn, returns damp and chilly and with fresh snacks*
*Comes in a little after dark, heading straight for her room, still cat-eyed and covered in fur*
*SUGAR GLIDER! ...Sort of worked. Okay, could've been worse*
*Shakes dew from fur (that was the problem, she didn't account for the damp, remember that next time) and heads inside*
*A helpful tree did try to cover her with dead leaves, apparently, so that's cool*
*Sleeps outside. Wakes up shivering. That... was a bad idea*
*Goes outside to share food with squirrels. Sprouting fur to keep the chill at bay*
*That gives her enough to change back, so she can open the door. She needs more - protein, fats. Heading quickly for the kitchen*
*She's got snacks stashed. Finds a package of cookies, has to rip it open with her teeth while holding it awkwardly in half-formed fingers*
*And she's hungry. So hungry. It's not just her stomach, it's a screaming need in her blood. Red alert red alert*
*Bear? She thinks. They're huge. Too big for her hands, even with the fingers thickened*
*She doesn't remember any dreams, but is suddenly awake on the floor, back bristling with rough fur and hands distorted into claws*
