One Card, Endless Possibilities: September is Library Card Sign-up Month! Sign up for a new St. John the Baptist Parish Library Card or renew an expired card in September for a chance to win an Amazon Fire Tablet! Two winners will be selected by random draw.

Today in LaPlace & Edgard: Kids will tap into their engineering skills and have a blast building structures using straws, pipe cleaners and tape. This STEM challenge for kids will allow them to create simple to more complex structures such as buildings, boats, and bridges!

During the second week of September, we will learn all about the MakerSpace's Ozobots. These robots are programmed to follow tracks drawn with special markers and are used as a tool to introduce coding to even the youngest learners.

Crazy 8s Math Club is unlike any other! It offers unique, high-energy math activities that appeal to kids of all math abilities. We will meet for 8 weeks after school to spark a love of math through play. This program is for children in grades 3-5.

Storytime introduces the love of reading to early learners. This is a perfect time for young children and their parents or caretakers to interact in a comfortable setting. Join us weekly at all branches!
