I rarely play games anymore. But this week I started playing Vintage Story and oh boy have I not gotten anything real done for three days.

I love that zig doesn't have operator overloading. There's something almost relaxing about not having to guess what the + operator does. I'm going to miss `var dir = vec_a - vec_b`. But i'm not going to miss the barbaric `entity += component` that i had to deal with one time.
Notebook LM's podcast hosts having anecdotes is wild. "I can vividly remember pulling an all nighter trying to debug some subtle c memory error, the idea of zig catching that at compile time feels like a dream."

Huh, I wonder why? This choice seems like it reduces readability with zero upside. I get that because they're const and top-level the compiler can just magic them into the correct order, but i don't see the benefit for the programmer to be able to do this.
