The main point Dr. Singer should address to Dr. Kolodny is that its always been primarily nonmedical polysubstance overdose deaths NOT overprescribing Rx's from physicians.. Even though it was a factor, based on ample amount of tox reports we have its always been polysubstance..

The fact that illegal fentanyl is the number one killer of those who OD from opioids and #OpioidRxs have very little to do with OD’s should put the nail in the coffin for #PROP’s claim to “expert” witness status in the lawsuits against pharmaceuticals. It was all a money grab.

My theory of treating chronic pain is quite simple. I use aggressive amounts of opioids to flood the anti-pain receptors in a manner that helps break the positive feedback loop that develops in all chronic pain patients. This positive feedback circuit is, of course, our pain.

My worst nightmares have come true. My love, best friend, the father of my children, has been diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic Gastric Adenocarcinoma. He's taken care of me for yrs as a #CPP & now I'm tending to him. I'm absolutely devastated & don't know how to tell our kids
