Also… No adult should be eating more than or as much as a growing teenage boy. They eat to grow. We’ve literally stopped growing. And we need to be cognizant of that. Logical changes of mentality towards food and the psychology of food are very helpful in getting healthy.

@missmxqn It's an interesting idea. We all have deviations from the "ideal" that we often hold as what normal is, so it's easy to associate with those groups who we share traits with.

i’m not officially diagnosed on anything (for many reasons) nor do i want to self-diagnose because that’s been discouraged to anyone especially for people who study Psychology (one of my majors) but i do notice the signs on me so this gave some sense of comfort, thank you 🫶🏼🥰

@PsychToday @Kaytee_Gillis That's sadly true. For example. The abuser takes a large part of the income of the victim, tells them that they'll help the victim's children, and then spends most of the money on "admin work".

@erin_1776 @nickitruesdell1 I used to think that as well. There are so many opportunities to be social. Just have to find groups. There are even music, art, and gym classes for homeschoolers in my area. A mom I know was excited because her son went to a homeschool formal last night.

@LayahHeilpern Change accelerates as the status quo approaches “how could it be any worse?” Levels. Public education is so bad that kids might be better off if you just turned them loose on YouTube and said “educate yourself”. Don’t do that tho. There are great Home school curriculums.

Schools will teach your children there are 100 genders but won't teach anything about inflation, taxes, business and personal responsibility. Home schooling has never looked more attractive.
