So Iām on another bike tour. Itās fun. Iām seeing a lot that I hadnāt before. And itās fulfilling in a way that cycling does that for you.
October 2023, I challenged myself to cycling 630kms over 4 days. Nairobi to Malindi. Day 1 we did around 188kms. I wasn't physically prepared for this trip. I relied on my mental preparation and muscle memory. 40kms in, I wanted to give up. I kept pushing. A thread...
Delighted to say Iām now 5000 kilometres into my cycling journey! I started a week before lockdown in March, having never ever cycled before. Being able to get on my handcycle and explore my local community on the Wirral has done my health no end of good in the lockdowns
Day 14 done...(13 cycling,14 in total) 3rd of the way into 3000 miles,really makes you appreciate the little things
