Thank you to everyone who stopped to pay their respects with us this morning as we marked #ArmisticeDay2023, I was very proud to read a poem on the town hall steps before our 2-minute silence began. We hope to see you at our Remembrance Sunday event tomorrow morning🌺
I received The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal today via the Royal Mail. Thank you Ma’am for the 70 years you served as our Queen for which I served only half of your time in the RAF. You were the best Boss ever. RIP Your Majesty.
