Are you wondering what your teachers have been up to this summer? Mrs. Kassinger and her kiddos recently checked out the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Hope your summer has been fun too. Never stop learning!
Mrs. Kassinger’s classes participated in a STEM challenge earlier this week to complete the longest paper chain using only 1 piece of construction paper, 12 inches of masking tape, and 1 pair of scissors. With only 25 minutes to work the longest chain of the day was 951 cm!

7th graders are winding down their school year playing an old school game of Memory…with a twist! They are modeling competitions in ecosystems needing to find their 3 resources before their opponents all while trying to avoid invasive species and predators. #togetherwespartan

8th graders this week began their final unit of the year… an introduction to physics! The labs you see here allow the students to gather data and analyze the relationship between speed, mass, and kinetic energy. #togetherwespartan #empowering2succeed

These 8th graders are ready to run a preliminary test on their hot houses! These devices are intended to minimize thermal energy transfer of a beaker of water kept inside. After today’s trial run, they compete next week! #togetherwespartan #empowering2succeed
