Reminder that the basic thing you're entitled to is at least a thorough session 0. There you can discuss if you really want to constantly ask what your own character can do during play, to the player sitting behind the screen, or if you better not sit at that table at all.

Just as they come to mind: 1 - a male dominated hobby doesn't have the tools and the cultural background to tackle romance tropes. 2 - the most widespread game system is heavily combat-based (the DM does the rest - re: 1). 3 - 1&2 usually discourage women to join. #TTRPGs #DnD

Yes, a terrible idea. Not because it’s creative, fun and artsy. Because it’s another way of completely rob the players of any weight they may have in the game. #TTRPGs #DnD

Spiderman is right. It's not like you can put "effort" in rolling the die higher if you have low skill scores to begin with. And randomness is fun only when it doesn't equate with "your contribution to the game is negated", that's just frustration. #ttrpg #DnD
