My evergreen advice for a happy match day: I wrote down a list of reasons I’d be thrilled to go for every program I ranked and put them in sealed envelopes. That way on match day, no matter where I matched, I had an envelope to open with reasons to feel excited. #match2025

Make it 3 years + they’ll be ready by 3. Make it 4 years + they’ll be ready by 4. Make it 5 years + hospital admin will be licking their lips at the $$$. Make it 6 + we will have 2k open EM spots after match because it’s so much easier/cost effective to become an EM NP/PA. 💅🏿

I’m shocked by how misinformed the men in my life are on abortion bans. Most of them support a woman’s right to choose - but they don’t understand that bans put lives at risk. One said to me “I’m sure they don’t impact women who WANT to start a family”. They do - here’s why 🧵
