I have (early stage, treatable) cancer. The next few months will be pretty rough, but my long-term prognosis is good. I'm going to kick its ass.

Engineering sort of laughed and said ok we’ll give it a shot but it never really had a chance. Everyone loved the idea but it would have been a huge amount of work, across engineering, art, and design. We were already over budget and behind schedule.

There are two Chua in the poster. That’s by design. The original concept was that Chua were dual creatures, a single person/soul in two bodies. The player controlled both as one character. All animations would be doubled. Edge conditions galore...

As promised, some stories about this poster: The white-haired alien in the top left was an Eshara, originally one of the Exile races. If you notice the Aurin in this poster is much more feral than when we shipped. The Eshara got replaced... (continues)

Oh man, @WildStar shuts down tonight!? Sadly I don't think I have access to my old account anymore, would have been cool to log in one last time. Launching WildStar and working with Carbine staff was one of the best parts of my CM career. So many great memories!
