I love the plain doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Christ-centric teachings made me want to be baptized. Sixteen years ago, in 2009, Elder Neal A. Maxwell wrote concerning the proper knowledge of God, His work, and His glory!

Just a month shy of 10 years ago, in the October 2015 Gen Conf, Elder Gregory A. Schwitzer taught how the “tone and approach” of those in the great and spacious building have changed. He noted that to counter, the faithful need to stand and testify! Love the last sentence.

I love Elder Orson F. Whitney, Apostle from April 9, 1906 - May 16, 1931. For those who now find too much distance between covenant and behavior, there is hope. We must be patient to allow them to come to themselves (Luke 15:17). The Lord is the keeper of the time.
