Good Morning! I spent my Monday removing the performance spikes from generating/loading/saving of terrain tiles. These operations now happen within a thread pool. This means CPU usage spikes in the profiler rather than slowdown spikes for an exploring player :) #indiedev#gamedev
I completed the integration of the "godot-sky-asset" in my project, today. While the results are very pretty to look at: the main benefit is that most of my performance spikes are gone, thanks to the GPU generation of the sky texture! Thanks @mux213! #indiedev#godotengine

Modeled some new #lowpoly props for my game project. My game project is now completely free of commercial assets! It took me some iterations to get the bone attachments to work similarly in #Blender3d and #GodotEngine, so my next blog should discuss this.
