Most football writers biggest issue with Guardiola and City is that they are so good, that the football writers lack the talent or understanding of the game to write a compelling story regarding their matches. So instead they talk about City being boring. /11

Now that’s not to say every critical article about City or the issues in the sport is wrong. There are lots of things to criticize City for but almost every critique applies to every other super club as well. The issues aren’t with city, the issues are with the sport. /16
So in the end, these writers scream that the EPL isn’t fun unless there’s “drama.” Because that’s another “easy” narrative to sell their audience. Particularly when large swaths of your audience believe their team has a divine right to be the best and an “outsider” bears them /15

I still can't believe how people fail to see United playing like a relegation zone team is a domino effect of signing Ronaldo. It's so ironic they're praising him while he's the one who's created many problems in the first place. Wake up, he's genuinely not top 30 in the world.
