This is huge because now the game will be tighter and more competitive, leading to more mins for Austin. From a matchup perspective, it’s also very favorable. The Liberty have been struggling on the boards lately, currently ranking 11th in rebounds allowed. They’re giving up the most opponent RPG in the league at 37.4. For a true center like Austin, her rebounding line feels far too low, and I believe she can easily surpass it. In her previous matchup against New York this season, she grabbed 11 rebounds in just 22 minutes. Looking at this sample size: when Austin plays 22+ minutes, she’s clears this line in 65% of games this season.
