Of the two PC filaments Bambu Lab offers, only the PC FR is flame-retardant with a UL 94-2023 V-0 rating, perfect for things like electronics cases. The only issue is it needs to be super dry. Like 8 hours at 80°C before you print. Anyone tried PC FR for their projects?

@ZombieHedgehog_ I am biased - but I do believe that most issues have been resolved, and most of what people are experiencing are often times unique situations. This is coming from 10 years in the support industry; I only ever heard when I did a bad job, rarely ever when I did a good job.
It's nearly time to get an XL... I've spent too much time seeing a small amount of people complain loudly about their experiences with this printer, there's no way the majority of users have constant issues with it. But that's also a ton of money to invest. What would you do?
@NeoKoi_Prints True! You do need to build, calibrate, and maintain it though. I've had mine working great until it doesn't😅 Totally need to add a 6 lane BT at some point once I get it working again.

I hear a lot of people talking about the reliability of the XL, but any fail at this size printer is quite disappointing. I hope to get an opportunity to get one and put it through a real test, not just print farming small objects. Who wants to see that?

trying to generate an internal bridge or some kind of top layers to sustain top shell thickness on sloped areas for hollow 3dprints and i can't find a solution in orca slicer 😭 i dont want to increase the wall thickness or keep having to add modifiers for this
