Maybe I'm just in a mood today. 🤷🏾‍♂️But I always feel this way. I don't want to give up all the freedom I have to ... just live ... for the basic necessities of a roof over my head and a couple of meals a day. Later alligator.

In the navy it was a total life commitment. Not just 8-9 hours a day. The military controls your entire life. Where you live? Your duties? When and for how long you can go home to see family or your woman and children. Yet Trump can be president and golf every other weekend?

Trump has shown us that in the end, none of us regular people have any power over our lives. I'm homeless. And everyone with a job has surrendered their autonomy to a system that seems designed to use them for cheap labor until they're unable to labor any more. Work from 14-70?

I mean, I hate sleeping in sheds or wherever. But I also hate the idea of changing my entire life so that a job (aka "my enslavement") becomes the most important thing. People divorce over jobs. Parents don't give enough time to their kids bc of jobs. Then some get 2nd jobs. Why?

What happens when I get the apt &buy stuff to fill it & 1 day I can't continue my enslavement to some bullsh1t menial job? I lose my home & stuff I bought, but I've also lost the months or years of my life I gave to enslavement chasing the things my society tells me I should want

Sometimes I wonder if I want the normal life. I mean yeah I'd like a little apt to call my own &not worry about hunger. But is it worth trading in my daily freedom to act&think&learn as I please, in exchange for paper I can trade for a apt to rent for as long as I enslave myself?

Trump's a toilet full of villainy, but we owe him gratitude. Bc of his pathological selfishness&absence of self-awareness, he's provided insights n2 how it's hopeless for us all. There are a few high rollers, but the rest of us exist on varying levels of enslavement to the system

X held back my tweets for a couple of days. Now I wonder what's the point of typing this out if they gonna end up erasing me. Guess I'll just go back to the struggle on my own. It was fun having people read this but I guess it's not meant to be for people like me.

Already felt kind of funny talking about things, but I figured, why not? Gives me something to do. Then X shuts down my acct. Then they put me on restricted use & erase the accts I was following. Like in the real world, I can't even have a little fun being a part of social media

Up & out in these Bull City streets the day after Hurricane Helena brought us a ton of rain. When the sun comes up, I'll walk around neighborhoods looking for a people willing to pay to go on their roof and clean off branches and stuff.

Hurricane Helene🌧️ rain is fuckin' relentless. I hated to do it but I came back to the shed in 3rd shift's back yard during the day. Hopefully he sleep & didn't see me sneaking in. I hope he don't come out here wit no🔫. Just need a place where the rain ain't drillin' me all day

I barely convinced myself not to go to the shed in that man's backyard too early. I was so tired all I wanted to do was drink a tall boy, smoke a couple of cigs, &lay my black ass down. But I waited till I saw his car pull out at 11:30, then I went back there &slept like a baby👶🏾

We work all day. Peedy bought Bojangles for lunch. 3piece+biscuit was fierce! Sweet tea was wicked. End of day I was tired. Peedy paid me $90. I know he got a lot more cause I saw 1man give him a c-note for a small yard. But I'm happy w/my cut. Honest pay for an honest day. 💵

Peedy (the lawn guy) say the old man was some kind of businessman back in his day. Whatever he did, he must have been successful. I took a pic of the house & Peedy asked me why. I told him I was going to post it on my new X page, but he told me not to.🤷🏾‍♂️Don't know why, but OK.

*sigh* But that ain't what I'm talking about this morning. So we do a yard over there, then another nearby, then we go out to Hope Valley which is why he really needed me. Big ol' house like a mansion. Ol' black man live there alone.

That's down the street from the 1we cut grass at. When I 1st got to Durham, I could always find an abandoned house in this hood to sleep &streets jacked up. Now w/white residents the city put in roundabouts, repaved sidewalks, filled potholes, new parks. Why not do that before?
