This government was never going to allow a genuine public inquiry into the influence of Beijing’s friends, proxies and agents at the centres of power in Canada. It would have to start with the PMO.

@TerryGlavin November 13, 2022: Bombshell revelations surface of Chinese Interference in Canada’s 2019 elections. March 15, 2023: David Johnson appointed Special Rapporteur. June 9, 2023: David Johnson resigns as Special Rapporteur. February 20, 2024: The #ChineseCoverUp continues.
@TerryGlavin Yup. They will bend this thing around them until it is armor.
@TerryGlavin They’re biding time they are going to be accountable for anything.
@TerryGlavin once again the fix is in there will never be a real inquiry while Liberals rule
@TerryGlavin Their conduct just shows why we need this in the first place. If there isn't any interference, this wouldn't be an issue. Telling.
@TerryGlavin I'm not convinced Beijing would prefer one Canadian government over another. If they do, I'd have to believe it would be the CPC.
@TerryGlavin You mean the cons just like the EAI they want to keep saying whatever they want but when the inquiry comes about we can’t have that
@TerryGlavin I don’t think this Inquiry is really serious about getting to the truth, it all seems tainted by the Politicians!!! We need a better system that demands accountability of our Government and MPs!!
@TerryGlavin Dear Terry, Have you ever thought about proposing a new ethics structure that would eliminate the ability of a (practical) majority to police themselves? It seems that this is the single most critical change we can make in Ottawa at the moment. Thanks so much, Matthew.
