The religious freedom stuff made me feel icky but even worse for me was the end of the talk when he listed all the reasons we need organized religion. This perpetuates the idea that non-religious people can not be good moral people and that is just not true

Just throwing a few thoughts out there about purity culture: One of the reasons I ended up deconstructing purity culture is it has no answers for people who wait years and even decades to find a spouse. Patience and prayer only works for so long.

Hey fellow #LDS #Mormons, I know this stresses some of you out, but the Church stance is pro-legal abortion. If we want abortions available for incest, rape, or health of the mother, that requires legal abortion. If you agree with the Church, you are also pro-legal abortion.

Anyone else decide to take a shower at 1am and then remember while showering that when they were growing up they were taught that God didn’t want them to get a second ear piercing but did want them to be a homophobic asshole….? Just me? Lol guess I’ll sleep now
